Brookwood boys open region schedule on March 8, 2011

The AAAAA 4th-ranked Brookwood Broncos begin region play with three difficult games next week.  Brookwood enters the region schedule sporting a 4-2-0 record with a loss to #1 Collins Hill 3-2 in PK’s and a loss to #3 Peachtree Ridge 1-0.  The Broncos also won three important road games in that stretch including a 3-0 win against Mill Creek, a 6-0 win over South Forsyth, and a 5-0 road victory over Kennesaw Mtn.  After six games senior Chris Peterson and junior Adrian Alabi lead the team in scoring; Peterson has 4 goals and 0 assists while Alabi has contributed 3 goals and 2 assists.  Freshman Brahan Gamarra and senior Hares Husseini lead the team in assists with three each.  Senior goalkeeper Matt Mayer has two shutouts and a 0.81 GAA.
